I recently bought a toilet seat with a dolphin painted on it… I am now wondering if this is a good idea. Let me know what you think thanks!

Is the concern that the dolphin doesn’t match your decor? Or do you worry that there is some arcane symbolism or sympathetic magic that might somehow harm you?
Toilet seats have nothing to do with real feng shui. Real feng shui was invented long before there was indoor plumbing. Perhaps you are confusing real feng shui with McFengshui. McFengshui was invented less than 30 years ago, and many superstitions about indoor plumbing are popular in McFengshui.
Feng shui is very straightforward. It has nothing to do with magic or religion.
