Sectors and feng shui

Question
If a room falls in two or more sectors (ie north and northwest) which direction do you use for the room and does it matter where the entrance to the room is?
Answer
An interesting question!
- Are you using the “pie shape” grid for your computations, or the square 3x3 grid?
- What are the Earth, Mountain and Water stars in the sectors in question?
- Which sector — on paper — looks like it contains most of the room?
- What is the configuration of the room, including closets, windows, walls? (The door might be of some importance, but usually not.)
For example, a bedroom typically has closets. If you have a 2-5 at northwest and 6-1 at north, but there’s a closet absorbing most of the 2-5, you’d stress the 6-1 because the closet “contains” the 2-5, so to speak.
