You make it quite clear that they are best in the closet, i.e. on the back of a closet door. This is not an option for me as the doors do not swing open; they are ;panels”.
In answer to another question about mirrors in the bedroom, you stated it depends on “you”. You gave very good examples of reasons you might not want a mirror and none fit me, thankfully.
I currently have one covered in my spare room at the foot of the bed simply because my daughter had learned the mirror shouldn’t face the bed. Not wanting to take chances I covered it with a beach towel. I do sleep in there on a regular basis. There is another dresser and mirror in that room but the mirror faces the door and not the bed. The mirror in my bedroom is to the right side and I almost never pay attention to it when getting up or most of the time for that matter. I look when checking my outfit if needed.
My primary concern is energy, period. Does the mirror placement, if it can’t be the ideal of in the closet, cause harm to health, money or relationships?
I have health problems but when I was younger I had a mirror in my bedroom always and was healthy then.
Also, my daughter and I are new to Feng Shui. Her future in-laws had very dramatic results with it. In the last 5 years in particular, their finances boomed. They came out of a no money situation. I’m puzzled because for a while now, they’ve used “Feng Shui For Dummies” and continue to have amazing success. Since this book is on your bad book list, I’d be interested in any comments or explanations you might have. I can see your site has solid knowledge and am just trying to understand how this worked so well for them once they did it themselves. A professinal was consulted for a yard in which nothing would grow at all. It was, of course, an amazing success. That was the start of feng shui for them.
