Knowledge is power

How to avoid victimization
You should provide a practitioner with:
- your name
- your address
- your phone number
- the date you moved in
- the year the structure was built (and any remodels and their dates)
- a floorplan to scale
- plot maps, if appropriate
- your birthdate and the birthdate of those living with you who are part of the analysis
Then shut up and let the practitioner do their work.
Don't let them lead you into revealing anything else, and don't let them ask questions that stray beyond this basic information.
A competent practitioner doesn't need any more information, and you don't need to provide answers to those who aren't good practitioners. Anyone who wants more information could be trying to con you using traditional methods such as cold reading, fishing, and the Barnum Effect.
If they want more information, make them supply you a copy of their privacy policies before you say anything. Don't divulge any information or feedback until the practitioner has provided you with the complete analysis and recommendations.
